Reunion
A son and
a brother arrives to join his family again. The last time they were all
together was almost fourteen months ago. Now a widow, the mother is very
happy to see all her three sons together. Filled with the joy of bringing
them up as good children with the father, she reminisces their childhood
and now she sees them as grown men with great outlook in life.

Job
well done!
I want to thank
the good Lord in guiding me through my life's journey. I couldn't believe
but it's true, God has a plan in each and everyone of us in His own timetable.
I went through peaks and valleys and I've learned the lessons of life.
Today is also my brother's birthday, it's a double celebration.

Looking Back
Three years
ago the northern winds ceased to blow and the feather stayed with its
memories. And those flowers have then withered and its petals have fallen
to the ground where the wind have picked it up. Looking forth, there are
moments when he wanted to look back and reminisce. Yesterday's gone, what
he is living now is today and looking forward of what tomorrow would bring.
What does his heart tell him? It is the very thought of the existence
of a presence he longs for. Where does this presence come from? Something
tells him, it's coming from the East. Would he follow the smoke signals
he sees beyond the horizon? Will it bring him there and find completion?

A Lunch
I had lunch with Tito Carlos at his daughter's furniture outlet. He's
going back home to Manila tomorrow so I took a break from my daily routine.
When I arrived, he condoled me with the loss of my father last year. He
heard it from her daughter, Tita Cheryl. We spent the day talking about
life in general and watching the classic Bruce Lee movie, Return of the
Dragon on my notebook computer. He's looking forward to meeting me back
in Manila next year. I've been busy lately that's why I didn't have a
chance to see him often. Bon voyage Tito!
