Job well done!
I want to thank the good Lord in guiding me through my life's journey. I couldn't believe but it's true, God has a plan in each and everyone of us in His own timetable. I went through peaks and valleys and I've learned the lessons of life. Today is also my brother's birthday, it's a double celebration.

Looking Back
Three years ago the northern winds ceased to blow and the feather stayed with its memories. And those flowers have then withered and its petals have fallen to the ground where the wind have picked it up. Looking forth, there are moments when he wanted to look back and reminisce. Yesterday's gone, what he is living now is today and looking forward of what tomorrow would bring. What does his heart tell him? It is the very thought of the existence of a presence he longs for. Where does this presence come from? Something tells him, it's coming from the East. Would he follow the smoke signals he sees beyond the horizon? Will it bring him there and find completion?

Parents and Children

"It's not right," he answered. "Many parents make mistakes with their children, thinking they know what's best for them. I'm not his father, and I know I'm doing the wrong thing. But I have to fulfill my destiny." -Padre talking to Pilar in the book By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept

"Practice eliminating doubt from your tone of voice. And don't describe your future success as something you "hope" to achieve. Picture it as something you absolutely will accomplish. You see, hope is not strong enough emotion to create the desire you'll need to keep you going. You must be convinced that what your imagination has created is your future reality." -Bill Philips, Author of Body for Life

Fish and Bird

They bought a round for the sailor
And they heard his tale
Of a world that was so far away
And a song that we'd never heard
A song of a little bird
That fell in love with a whale

He said: you cannot live in the ocean
And she said to him:
You never can live in the sky
But the ocean is filled with tears
And the sea turns into a mirror
And there's a whale in the moon when it's clear
And a bird on the tide

Please don't cry
Let me dry
Your eyes

So tell me that you will wait for me
Hold me in your arms
I promise we never will part
I'll never sail back to the time
But I'll always pretend you're mine
Though I know that we both must part
You can live in my heart

A Lunch
I had lunch with Tito Carlos at his daughter's furniture outlet. He's going back home to Manila tomorrow so I took a break from my daily routine. When I arrived, he condoled me with the loss of my father last year. He heard it from her daughter, Tita Cheryl. We spent the day talking about life in general and watching the classic Bruce Lee movie, Return of the Dragon on my notebook computer. He's looking forward to meeting me back in Manila next year. I've been busy lately that's why I didn't have a chance to see him often. Bon voyage Tito!
