You Inspire Me
You may thought I lost the touch. You may thought I lost the smile. You may thought I can no longer write. Believe me, you inspire me in every aspect of my life. Just inspire me, and I will do the rest...to complete you.

Born For You
by David Pomeranz
Too many billion people
Running around the planet
What is the chance in heaven
That you'd find your way to me?
Tell me what is this sweet sensation?
It's a miracle that's happened
Though I search for an explanation
Only one thing it could be -

That I was born for you
It was written in the stars
Yes, I was born for you
And the choice was never ours
It's as if the powers of the universe
Conspired to make you mine
And til the day I die,
I bless the day that I was born for you

Too many foolish people
Trying to come between us
None of them seem to matter
When I look into your eyes
Now I know why I belong here
In your arms I found the answer
Somehow nothing would seem so wrong here
If they'd only realise

That I was born for you
And that you were born for me
And in this random world,
This was clearly meant to be
What we have the world could never understand
Or ever take away
And till the day I die
I bless the day that I was born for you

What we have the world could never understand
Or ever take away
And as the years go by
Until the day I die
I bless the day that I was born for you

Paula Peralejo
I came to know her sister Rica when she visited Maui on her concert tour. Paula, like Rica said, is different from her. I read Paula's blog this morning.

To Infinity and Beyond
This is where you should know that you came to be in this lifetime and be with me for us to cherish each other's presence for as long as we live. I love you.

What is Clear is a Smoke in the Bottle
I was drinking a bottle of beer while gazing upon a familiar sight. Clearly, I could see the bubbles inside the bottle. What I don't see is whose silhouette is in front of my bottle. Let me smell your scent. It's you.

A Taste of Lahaina
I enjoyed today outside my space. A Taste of Lahaina was a whole new experience. It's my first time there. My friend asked me to be there to get some video footage of the event. I got to see old friends there and coworkers. I thought of you. Your presence lingered on and I knew you loved everything in it. I was in carrying my photogear backpack and it was heavy. It was heavy, but it feels light.

I got home with a smile in the face. Once, I got back into my room. My shoulders are heavy, though I wasn't carrying anything. I feel your sadness. I am sad, too. Let US be happy.

Seventeen Years
Seventeen ago I came back to my land of birth. I came here for a reason that I don't know. Maybe education was an excuse. My parents wanted me to pursue medicine but I didn't move on to that profession. Who am I now? I am a man of many hats. A journalist, a graphic designer, an IT professional, a photographer...and what else? These came to be because of inspiration. What would another hat that I am going to wear? There are individuals who put down my ideals and dreams. Thanks to them, they serve their purpose.

I thank my God to exist in this lifetime. Without Him, I wouldn't have met you. Today reveals who you are to me.

Ferdinand Marcos
Today marks his 88th birthday. What would you have done in the Philippines' current state?

Nakalaan (Unfinished)
Luhaan ang aking mga mata
At nalulumbay sa aking pag-iisa
Lumayo ka man at ako'y maghihintay
Ang puso kong para sa iyo'y nakalaan

Wake Me Up When September Ends
by Green Day

Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
wake me up when september ends

like my fathers come to pass
seven years has gone so fast
wake me up when september ends

here comes the rain again
falling from the stars
drenched in my pain again
becoming who we are

as my memory rests
but never forgets what I lost
wake me up when september ends

summer has come and passed
the innocent can never last
wake me up when september ends

ring out the bells again
like we did when spring began
wake me up when september ends

here comes the rain again
falling from the stars
drenched in my pain again
becoming who we are

as my memory rests
but never forgets what I lost
wake me up when september ends

Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
wake me up when september ends

like my father's come to pass
twenty years has gone so fast
wake me up when september ends
wake me up when september ends
wake me up when september ends

Surf's Up
It took me 2 hours to get home from work today. The ocean was touching the road and it was dangerous for motorists. The surfers were festive. I was so glad to get home and tell you I am home now. Thank you.

The Zahir16 sep 2005
The Zahir
THE ZAHIR, a just released book by best selling author of The Alchemist, Paulo Coelho, is another must read. I haven't finished reading 11 Minutes and I know this is a book that again, is another best-seller. The Zahir is on my books to read list. When will I buy it? This coming October. I promise that I will finish to read those other books before getting to this book. The cover looks like a painting that I did but the woman was with a man along the beach years ago.

Loss
I attended the funeral of my friend's cousin. I took photos of the whole event upon the request of the family through my friend. They have cancelled earlier because they found someone else. I brought my photo gear with me because I was going to the photolab to get my photos and supposedly show my camera to the owner who I sold my old camera. When I arrived my friend welcomed me and apologised for the cancellation. He asked me if I have my gear with me. I told him I have it in my vehicle. He checked with the family of the deceased and let me take photos.

The deceased died young and still have a lot to give. Being behind the lens, I can see the grief of the people he left behind. It has been appointed that man will die and that is an absolute truth. Death is reality. It is the end of one's earthly journey in preparation to a new beginning.

To Your Mother
Let me greet her a happy birthday. Thank you for the invitation and it is an honor to be in merriment with her. She is blessed with a beautiful daughter who is always there for her. You are your mother's daughter.

Photography Contest
I am entering again in the photography contest at the county fair this year and this photo (right) is one of the three entries. Please pray for me that I will get an award in this contest. I didn't win last year but I was glad to join and be noticed.

Photography lets me see things in different light.

Martial Law Remembered
What if martial law was still in place today? I know it would be hard. Now, freedom is restored, have we ever thought of being in cohesion to make this nation great once again?

Sa Bawat Simula
ni Cul

Minsan ang katapusan ay sya ring simula
Kaya wag kang matakot pumalaot sa kawalan
Gaya ng isang uod na magiging paru-paro
Wag kang mangamba
Wag kang mag-alala
Pagkat ako’y kasama
Sa bawat simula

House of Flying Daggers

I watched this movie this evening and it is a cool movie. Watch it. Good thing, there is English subtitle. Let us watch it together one of these days. It's a really good movie.

Rating: 4-1/2 teardrops

Lovers
by Kathleen Battle, Original Soundtrack from The House of Flying Daggers

There was a field in my old town
Where we always played hand in hand
The wind was gently touching the grass
We were so young so fearless

Then I dreamt over and over of
you holding me tight under the stars
I made a promise to my dear Lord
I will love you forever

Time has passed
So much has changed
But the field remains in my heart
Oh where are you?
I need to tell you I still love you
So I reach out for you
You fly around me like a butterfly
Your voice still echoes in my heart
You are my true love

There was a field in my old town
Where in Spring all flowers blossomed wide
We were chasing butterflies
Hand in hand 'till close of day
Your voice still echoes in my heart
