Soothe my spirit today Lord, and give me a gentle spirit. Turn me from seeking solely after my own desires and wants, and direct me in the ways that demonstrate your love. Give me ample opportunities to move away from the things that keep me on the fast track; to bigger, better, and more…draw me instead to the things of eternal value. Give me a servant’s heart and a passion to live in humility. Amen
